Power Monitor Software for UPS

LanSafe III and FailSafe III software provide two methods for monitoring the performance and availability of your system’s backup power. Both packages are fully operational with either the Deltec On-line or Line Interactive UPS systems. LanSafe III is designed for network operations while FailSafe III provides similar power management capabilities for stand-alone PCS.

Power management software is offered for all common networks and operating systems. Network power management is available for Novell NetWare, Novell NMS, Windows, Windows NT, MS-DOS, Unix, and OS/2 with LAN Manager and LAN Server. Stand-alone PC solutions are offered for Windows, Windows NT, and OS/2.

LanSafe III and FailSafe III are compatible with Deltec’s entire range of UPS Code II compliant and Dry Contact UPS. Deltec's UPS Code II compliant systems incorporate a unique continuously sensing, microprocessor based control circuitry that monitors real-time power conditions and provides a wide-range of control and diagnostic data to the LanSafe III and FailSafe III software through an RS-232 communications link.

The Software records the time and description of impactive power fluctuations that force the UPS to switch to battery operation. If the adverse power condition continues, the software prompts the suer to save work in progress before the system shuts down. In the event the user is unavailable, the software will automatically save all files and conduct an orderly shutdown.
